Submitting Competition Entries
Prints have to be submitted on the Monday prior to the competition, or earlier.
Prints have to be mounted and should have a backing board affixed.
Do not use any rough tape (e.g. masking tape) or any other fixing material that may damage the work of other entrants.
The name of the author, the title and section entered should clearly be shown on the back of the entry. This should be in a colour that contrasts with the backing board. Ideally this should be in the form of a label affixed to the top left hand corner.
To further assist, if necessary, mark the rear of the entry with an upward facing arrow.
N.B. Guidance on how to mount prints is contained within the Learning Zone section of the Club website.
DIGITAL IMAGE COMPETITIONS
Titles AND image files for Projected Image Competitions have to be emailed to the Competition Secretary by midnight the Thursday prior to the competition.
The email must state the titles within each section entered.
The titles must also be included within the EXIF data for each image.
N.B. Guidance on how to prepare digital images for competition, including re-sizing, is contained within the Learning Zone section of the Club website.
