On a warm and sunny afternoon, on Saturday 30th April, the 2022 EAF Annual Exhibition was opened by Vic Hainsworth, President of the EAF. A relatively large crowd had gathered for the awards ceremony, to view the projected images on a large screen and survey the prints. Following the rigours of the past two years it made a welcome change to be able to see so many high-quality prints on display.
Fifty-nine monochrome and ninety-seven colour prints were on display, well-spaced across two rooms. However, there were far fewer prints submitted this year compared to previous years. The number of PDI entries submitted compared well with previous years. This year 156 PD images were accepted for the Exhibition and were on display, twelve of the images came from members of Edmonton. The acceptance rate for PDIs year was 26%.
The Exhibition will continue with prints and revolving display of PDIs, at Wingfield Barns, Suffolk, until Sunday 15th May, at 13:00. The exhibition is now open from Wednesday to Sundays between 11:00 and 16:00 each day.
