A Japanese Autumn

On Monday 25th January we will welcome Julian Elliott to the club for a Zoom talk centred around his first trip to Japan in the autumn of 2018 to capture the fall colours. The talk will explain how he captured the images as well as the planning etc that went into it.

Julian will be joining us online from France for what should be a wonderful escape from the current “go nowhere” rules.

The image above: Autumn color at Kiyomizu-dera temple in Kyoto, Japan. Founded in the early Heian period, Kiyomizu-dera temple was founded in 778. It is famous for not having used a single nail in its construction. The temple is part of the Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto and is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
