A superb evening of Wildlife Photography

On the 14th September we were treated to a brilliant evening with Yorkshire based photographer Simon Roy, coming to us via Zoom.

Red grouse Lagopus lagopus scotica, in flowering heather. Swaledale, UK, August

Simon showed us some stunning wildlife images and explained the lengths he went to to get them, gently coaxing the behaviour of the creatures to get the image he planned in advance. Some images took years of dedication and perseverance to come to fruition, but the end results are fantastic! A question and answer session wrapped up the evening. We hope to see more of Simon in the future.
