Edmonton victors in the 2019 Eight Way Print Battle

In front of the few supporters who attended an exciting battle, Edmonton secured a relatively easy victory over the other seven competing clubs.

Edmonton scored 94 points, Hertford were second with 92. Muswell Hill and Barnet tied for first place with 91 points. Hoddesdon, who joined the group for the first time this year, finished 6th with 87 points.

Once again there was an excellent array of prints, from every genre, on display. However, on this occasion there were relatively few monochrome images to view. The judge was Amanda Wright, from Ealing & Hampshire House PS.

Each club’s entry comprised just five prints. Our authors were Sue, Marion, Marilyn, Andrew and Chris. Edmonton’s winning total consisted of two maximum 20’s and three 18’s.

Each of the eight club/societies hosts the event in rotation. In 2020 Edmonton are due to be the host club. Nick has set the date for 19th October – put in in your diary!
