Freezing Photography

On Monday Sarah Kelman visited the Club to present some of her excellent images taken in the frozen north “Northern Winter, Survival in the Snow“. From Finland to Iceland and America, stopping off in Scotland too, the scenery, birds, foxes, otters, wolves, coyotes and many others all came within sight, very close sight, of Sarah’s lens. She entertained us with stories of the animals’ behaviour and also information about how she took the pictures.

Concerns about the effect climate change is having on these photogenic creatures was also highlighted, many of them having no place further to go as they have reached the end of their climatic niche.

A great evening, educational, entertaining and superb images. Enjoyed by all there.
