Judge Sarah and the Print Competition

What a cracking evening we had when Sarah Kelman ARPS DPAGB came to judge our images all 140 odd of them. If you get the opportunity to look at some of Sarah’s images, you can understand why she is such a good judge of other people’s photos. Sarah brought her knowledge in photography and her effervescent enthusiasm with her, and it rubbed off on us all.

She judged each image fairly and gave excellent critique with some helpful ideas on how we can improve our photographic techniques.  She confided that she does not have the patience to do landscape, choosing instead to take images of wildlife, I personally think that both subjects need a certain level of perseverance and resolve to get the desired effects of what you are trying to achieve.

Edmonton Camera Club would like to say a big thank you to Sarah for coming all the way from Cambridge to judge our third Print competition and look forward to seeing her again on 11th March 2019 for her lecture entitled ‘Ten Thousand Miles of Ocean’
