Loughton Anniversary Trophy

Last Wednesday was the occasion of the Loughton Anniversary Trophy Competition. This is an event where six clubs compete over three rounds – mono prints, colour prints and PDIs. The judge this year was Tony Bramley FRPS, a professional photographer.

Loughton CC are very generous hosts and as on previous occasions offered complimentary drinks and snacks during the interval. The evening concluded with the now famous raffle where there are many prizes including, on this occasion, a Leica derived action camera and a Billingham camera bag.

There were some excellent images on show.  Loughton achieved the highest score in both the print sections. The PDI section was more evenly fought. When the score for all three sections were totted up at the end of the evening Loughton emerged clear winners with 213 points. Enfield CC gained second place with 205 points. Edmonton finished in third position scoring 203, the same score as Upminster and H2. Walthamstow scored 201.
