Sue’s Full House

Fifty-four images were entered for this year’s Digital Image of the Year Competition. Chris Palmer, our judge for the evening, did a grand job of commenting on each of the entries and indicating where, in his opinion, things could have been done a little differently to enhance the image. Chris held a good portion of the images back for a second viewing. During this round more images were eliminated until only six remained. Chris declared five of those remaining to be ‘Highly Commended’. The authors of those images were Hatim Bharmal, Marion Rapier, Marilyn Steward, Derek Webster and Sue Webster. The sixth image became the judge’s choice for the 2020/21 Digital Image of the Year – ‘Gannet Fight’ by Sue Webster.

With there being no print competitions this year, owing to the Covid pandemic, the number of trophies up for grabs been restricted to only four. Sue has done supremely well in that she has succeeded in winning all of them – a truly ‘clean sheet’! We offer Sue our hearty congratulations.
