THIRTEEN, a group of professional and accomplished amateur photographers with many solo and group exhibitions to their credit, are showing their work for the fifth time in Lauderdale House and last night (27th November) with a private viewing.
THIRTEEN in their approach to photography are very idiosyncratic in terms of genres and techniques. They produce pictures that are surprising in content and originality, covering a wide range of photographic categories in colour or black and white, in analogue or digital, from staged to capturing a decisive moment of street life, from portraits to abstracts, dramatic landscapes, documents of travels and events in slit-scanning technique. In common, each photographer applies their vision of world in a creative and imaginative way.
Our very own Andrew Ridley, was one of the ‘THIRTEEN’ exhibiting his work. Mike and I went along and was so impressed with the quality of photography, we had a great evening.
This is a free event. You do not need to book a ticket. You can download a PDF of the advertising poster.
