Underwater Extravaganza

On Monday 4th October we went underwater with David Keep ARPS DPAGB FBPE EFIAP. Fantastic images and explanations of the setup required for each. Some tense moments with the sharks and phantom crocodiles, beautiful macro shots of fluorescent Nudibranchs (sea slugs), ethereal images of flowing dresses underwater belying the efforts required to shoot them. David’s enthusiastic and informative delivery kept the audience enthralled and entertained throughout. Highly recommended.

This was our second hybrid meeting, with 8 of us at Millfield House and 11 online. The teething troubles with the sound have been mostly sorted out.

This talk passed my “did I fall asleep in it” test with flying colours. The photos were very good and interesting; the technical background (both photographic and SCUBA-related) that David gave put things in context and his delivery was engaging and informative. I sincerely hope Nick will be able to book his second talk without too much delay.
